1/700 PLAN Yuanzheng 66 & Yuanzheng 67 (HobbyBoss)
These are the Russian Project 636 Kilo Class submrines exported to the People's Republic of China. The kit is one of the earliest submarine snap-kits issued by HobbyBoss which is in fact another brand of Trumpeter and the quality of the kit is very good. Chinese diesel submarines are usually referred by their hull numbers, but the official names for the newer generations are reportedly "Yuanzheng + last two digits of hull number" in which "Yuanzheng" literally means "far expedition".
