1/144 Russian Kilo-class submarine (Trumpeter)
This is the 1/144 Trumpeter kit of a Russian Kilo-class submarine.
These are probably the most advanced diesel-electric submarines ever built
and are among the quietest subs in the world. Trumpeter's kit is
fairly simple and is primarily a masking challenge.
This build survived a cat-related fall from about 4 feet up - like
the cat, it landed on its feet/base. It's now been moved to
a secure location.
