1/350 India pr.940 (Scratchbuild)
The model is approx in 1/350 scale. I find some good pictures at the web . It is What the Russian call project 940 and in Nato it is called India class. It is a very interesting sub, with 2 minisubs on deck. The Russians denied for many years that this submarine ever existed. Rumors says that the Russians also have rebuilt Romeo subs with Murenas (the minisub) onboard.
I build it from scratch with plasticard. When I found a small plan on the web, I just make that bigger and use it for my model. Its all there. It has been difficult to build up the hull, it is in some way very different from other Russian submarines. It is very sharp and and narrow on deck, but the center of the hull expands forward and backwards. I started this in beginning of June, and have built on it pratically each day since.
