1/350 K-267 Akula class SSN (Alanger)

This is the first submarine kit from Alanger Comprising 32 parts in finely molded black styrene , all pieces were flash free even small pieces like mast stowed , antenna. Assembly is quite simple , I built it straightforward. I did test-fit each piece before gluing to ensure that there was not a bit of subtle flash or molding tree remnant.

Painting of this Akula was easy as assembly. The submarine is "black" on upper hull and "brick red" on lower hull. A decal sheet was nice and great quality. Most of these are white lines for waterline with depth marking , which of course will contrast strongly on a black hull.

Display stand I've taken from 1/350 DML kit , it looks better than "Alanger" stand. The name on display stand I made from white decal sheet. Designated as K-267 "SAMARA"

So, I can confirm that this kit is quick built and represents a powerful combat vessel in the current Russian navy. If you want to add the "Akula" class submarine in to your 1/350 fleet , this Alanger kit is perfect in shape and it's just what you're looking for.
