1/200 Typhoon SSBN (Adore)

I got this large paper model of a Typhoon class sub on e-bay; I've subsequently seen it on SPI and some of the other sites that deal in paper models. It's by Adore, one of the Polish companies; I've never seen any other kits by this manufacturer.

A Typhoon in 1/200 builds into a pretty good size model. I included a dollar bill in one of the photos to give an idea of the size.

I'm very pleased with the build; although it is far from perfect, it's one of the better paper models I've done to date, in my opinion. Doing all 20 missiles and missile hatches in the open position was tedious but I think it adds interest to the finished model.

Having built one gigantic paper submarine, I've now started on another - the even larger 1/100 model of the Japanese I-25, by Halinski.
