1/32 USS Ling SS-297 (32nd Parallel)
R/C Baloa class submarine circa 1945 USS Ling. This model built from a 32nd Parallel fiberglass hull. All the details, guns, mast array, TBT, chutes, shield, gun pods were all scratchbuilt from brass and various metals and were soldered together at all joints. The superstructure is also fully riveted, and all access hatchs/gun chutes open & close. Some of the photos show the inner hatch wells. The wooded mid section is made from real wood. Also shown are some fish eye underwater images taken from a disposable underwater camera at the last patrol searching for U'ys.
