1/200 USS Ethan Allen SSBN-608 (Renwal)
This is Renwal’s 1/200 scale SSBN 608 Ethan Allen U.S. Navy submarine. I built this model in 1995. Listed below are the modifications/additions that were made:
Small diameter wire used for piping.
Scratch built chairs and tables.
Added photo-etched ladders.
This kit is very old and many of the large pieces do not fit together very well. Also, the interior layout is not accurate. It was true labor of love to finish this model. However, it is still one of my favorites in my case. One of the things I am proudest of is the fact I have only seen a couple of these that have ever been built.
