I built this Seawolf from the fairly new/recent Trumpeter release in 1/144 scale and was impressed again by the quality of the kit. And it's big, bigger than I expected at this scale and with surprisingly few parts.
There were a few minor problems getting the split hull halves to line up and fitting the nose cone properly. The plastic pieces are long but thin, which allows for twisting and warping and it seemed like my kit must have been sitting on it's side for some time which made the hull halves bow out from laying on top of other components. But it just took some time and patience with clamping and generous amounts of Tenax to weld the plastic together. After the hull assembly, the rest of the sub went together in literally minutes.
