1/350 Los Angeles Class SSN (Dragon)
This is a 1/350 scale Los Angeles Class submarine by DML. It is painted with acrylic craft paints. Also included are some 1/350 scale U.S. Navy aircraft by Tamiya. I added a few details to the top of the sail because DML made no effort in this area other than three nearly identical periscopes / antennas surrounded by absolutely nothing. While searching for photos of this sub, it became clear that there is no standard color scheme. Some photos show a sub with no visible red color at all, and some with the red clearly visible several feet below the water line. The model is very simple, and the L.A. Class is a very boring design - but at the same time, I enjoyed building it and it looks good when complete.
