1/700 LCVP & LCI at Iwo Jima (Pit-Road)
This diorama is Iwo Jima landing operation. Actually, the landings were carried out with LVT and Sherman Tank, but the LVT and sherman tank's details were very low so I didn't use them.This diorama is distant from historical facts. At that time, the Tennessee and other warships fired on the SuribachI Mountains, and the Marine landed in Green Beach near Suriba Mountain. But it is quite far from there.
We will never be able to make dioramas if we follow historical facts. I ignored them, and used my imagination to do this. So I don't want to hear criticism about historical facts.
