1/350 U-Boat Type VIIc (Jasmine Model)

After seeing the review here I had to have one. Boy do I wish now I'd just said "nice idea" and moved on. I'm not going to review the kit but if you're thinking about giving it a go, search your soul first.  This model was a soul-crushing, marriage-ending slog.  It's delicate, very delicate. The brass is really a bit too thin and you will break parts. Just the simple act of bending the bunks into place resulted in a pile of Kriegsmarine sailor's beds. This one isn't for the faint of heart, that's for sure.

I think the results are fantastic if you can keep your cool.  I'm planning on adding some more details such as crew and a wire cutter, but for now I need a break from this evil contraption.
